Hast thou considered my servant{ ________________________}.Here I go again out on a limb.
Now most everyone has at one time or another, heard this preached, about Job and his trials. I at this time will not go into that, but what to come at this from another avenue.
Job 1:8.The sons of God, along with Satan came to present themselves before the Lord??
Where did they come from, and why. In my studies of this, I find no commentary addressing this, they just skirt around it, and maybe I would be smart to do the same, but like the song says {you never were to wise}.
Now not to get into an imponderable situation, I will skirt very lightly around, and not get into a lot of, {“thus sayeth the Lord”!}, Just thus thinketh Van. {that’s with a T not an S}.
Genesis 6:2 (KJV)
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Hosea 1:10 (KJV)
---------------------------------where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
John 1:12 (KJV)
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Romans 8:14 (KJV)
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
And: Romans 8:19, Galatians 4:6, Philippians 2:15, 1John 3:1&2. Calls all reborn man, sons of God. All these scriptures make man sons of God.
“Thus thinketh Van”; Gen. 6:2 is speaking of sons of Adam, as Adam was the first born man of God, this would make his sons also men of God, these are not angles as some mistakenly say.
These sons of God, are not angles, as per Matthew 22:29-30 (KJV)
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Angles are not able to reproduce; this scripture proves angles are not sons of God.
So then who are the daughters of man, I at this time will let you come to your own conclusion, I believe I know, but will not say now.
Gen. 1:28. Gen. 9:1 replenish
#1 I could get into why God had to have the flood #2 Jesus was a direct descendent of Adam #3 Job 1:8 these angles like Satan, were/are rulers of a planet #4 there are many scholars who believe our reward will be a planet of our own, and our residents in Heaven will be where we stay while we present ourselves to God. Nice!!

Hast thou considered my servant{ ________________________}. Now these are not the words you want to hear God say, what you want is, “good and faithful servant”.
But in reality this happens when you are saved, you are giving a short interval of Grace, when you are first saved. As you live your life as a Christian, God sometimes let you on your own for a while. If some tell you it will be all comfy, easy street, bed of Roses, I hate to tell you this, God is proud of you, and He says to Satan, hast thou considered my servant, ??? The end is worth it, hang in there, your reward follows. Now as I think of one of my favorite Aunts, Aunt Ruth, she had bad health, there is a song, it will be worth it all, I seem to hear her singing, it “was”, worth it all.
When or as we become Christians, things start to happen, not always nice things, and these are not trials by God but by His arch enemy. Just as with Adam and Eve, he comes slithering into your garden, into your space. If the devil is not working on you it’s because he already has you, so he doesn’t have to work on you.
I’m not saying you will not have a good life, or that you will never win, but like the prize fighter, he won, but he got some bruises from the fight, yet he was still happy.
If it seems as if the only one Satan is working on is you, you must be doing something right, hang in there.
